Empower the Sound: Emerging Artist Development Program
Story
Belize is a land of vibrant rhythms and untapped potential, but many of our most talented young artists lack the professional bridge needed to move from the grassroots to the global stage. The Belize Music Agency (BMA), in collaboration with the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH), is launching a transformative crowdfunding campaign to support five of Belize’s most promising upcoming artists as they build sustainable creative careers.
What Your Support Will Fund
Your contribution will directly empower these five artists and their band members through a structured, year-long development journey:
- Professional Studio Production: Each artist will record 2–5 original songs in the BMA’s state-of-the-art studios, which are equipped with over $50,000 in high-end gear.
- 12 Guaranteed National Performances: We are providing a platform for these artists to hone their craft with 12 scheduled performances at major events, including the Belize City Super Sale and the Belmopan Night Markets.
- The Artist Merch Program: Beyond the stage, we are helping artists build a brand. Your funding supports the creation of branded merchandise and personalized digital storefronts on platforms like CreativeBelize.com, allowing artists to generate long-term, sustainable income.
- Business Mastery: In partnership with Beltraide, artists will receive technical business expertise in inventory management and digital e-commerce, ensuring they are equipped to manage their own creative enterprises.
